Product Description

1. Differences between LCD and LED TVs

    a. Traditional LCD (CCFL backlight): Automated equipment fixes the cold cathode fluorescent tube (CCFL) on the lamp holder and simultaneously completes the welding of the high-voltage driver board (voltage stability needs to be controlled);

    b. LED TV (LED backlight): The LED lamp beads (single size is only 2-3mm) are automatically mounted on the aluminum substrate (forming light bars) through an SMT mounting robot, and the circuit connection is completed through laser welding; Then, the light bars, light guide plates (evenly disperse light), diffuser sheets (soften light) and other components are accurately stacked through automated tooling to ensure the uniformity of the backlight (avoid spots on the screen).

2. Automatic conveying system for TV production line

The conveying system for LCD/LED TV production needs to adapt to materials of different weights (from 0.1kg lamp beads to 50kg complete machines) and different forms (panels, modules, complete machines), so it adopts a diversified combination of conveying technologies.

    a. Belt conveying line: mainly used for short-distance conveying of lightweight parts (such as screws, interfaces, drive ICs). The speed is controlled by a servo motor (adjustable at 0.5-2m/s), and the photoelectric sensor is used to detect the material in place to ensure accurate docking with the sorting robot. Its advantages are low noise (≤60dB) and low maintenance costs, making it suitable for continuous transportation of parts pretreatment.

    b. Chain conveying line: It adopts high-strength roller chains and is matched with metal trays to carry heavy objects of 50-100kg (such as LCD panels and complete machines). In the module assembly workshop, the chain conveying line accurately stops the panel at the laminating station through the mechanical cooperation of positioning pins and trays (positioning error ≤±0.5mm), which is convenient for the robot to complete high-precision operations such as polarizer laminating and backlight module assembly. Chain conveying lines have strong wear resistance and are suitable for material transfer under high loads and long distances (up to more than 50 meters).
